Carter, 44, of 5005 Old Midlothian Turnpike, died Thursday, April 10, 1975. He was a Baptist and a Veteran of the Army of World War II. He was employed as a sheet metal mechanic for the Virginia Home Life Corp. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dianne Joyner Carter; and a son, Terry Lynn Carter. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. from Purviance Funeral Chapel in Wakefield, by Rev. E.C. Priddy, Jr. Burial in Tucker Swamp Cemetery.
