Crumpler of Ivor died suddenly Tuesday while on a visit at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.P. Murphy, in Suffolk. Mrs. Crumpler is survived by her husband, Frank P. Crumpler, and seven children, Mrs. J.D. Bryant of Norfolk; Mrs. E.R. Bryant of Ivor; Mrs. S.D. Locke of Portsmouth; Mrs. H.P. Murphy of Suffolk; R.L. Crumpler of Petersburg; and R.E. Crumpler of Zuni; 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by a half sister, Mrs. Mathews and a half brother, John Fair Clark of Newport News. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mount Carmel Christian Church and were conducted by the Rev. H.S. Hardcastle, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church, assisted by the Rev. Dr. W.W. Staley, Dr. I.W. Johnson, Rev. A.P. Thompson and the Rev. L.E. Smith of Portsmouth. Interment was in the church cemetery. Tulie (FAIRCLOTH; Mrs. Franklin P.)
