ESAMOND BOOTHE CORNWELL

   SEDLEY -  A funeral service for Mrs. Esamond Boothe Cornwell, 64, was held 
Monday at 11 a.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. Lewis 
Harris.  Burial was in Ivor Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were: Robert Hines, Joseph Hines, W.M. Felton, Roy Cornwell, 
Billy Felton, A.M. Felts Sr., Robert Dunn and R.L. Harreys.

   She died Saturday in her home on Route 1.  A native of Southampton County, 
she was the wife of Mr. Raby Hines Cornwell.

   She was a member of Millfield Baptist Church.

   Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ralph P. Hines, of Farmville 
and Mrs. Robert J. Owens of Ivor, a son, Ronald B. Cornwell of Sedley; a 
sister, Mrs. Joseph C. Pond of Sedley; a brother, William H. Boothe of Newport 
News; and eight grandchildren.
