Jonas Day 

  WAKEFIELD - Jonas Day, husband of the late Mrs. Cula W. Day, died Wednesday 
in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. 

  He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and a son of Richard and Mrs. 
Mary L. Fulgham Day of Southampton. 

  Surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lucille Simmons of Hampton and Mrs. 
Picola Wyche of Newport News; two stepsons, William White of Suffolk and John 
White of Newport News; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Gray of Ivor and Mrs. Virgie 
Turner of Wakefield, and four brothers, Johnny Day of Jarratt, Charlie Day of 
Wakefield, Willie Day of Smithfield, and Howard Day of Washington. 

  A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 
Ivor, by the Rev. C. W. Proctor.  Burial will be in Bolling Cemetery, 
Wakefield, with Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, in charge.
