Hudgins of Franklin Baptist Church and the Rev. St. Elmo Nauman of Franklin Congregational Christian Church. The body was taken from W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home to the cemetery at 3:45 p.m. Pallbearers were Corbitt E. Turner, Jimmy Walker, Story Cutchins, R.H. Allen, Bagley Edwards, Tony Cobb and Hayes Holland. Mrs. Day, 75, died in Southampton Memorial Hospital early Thursday after a long illness. She was the wife of Frank Ralph Day Sr. and a daughter of Joseph C. and Mrs. Emma S. Tomlin of Gadsden, Ala. She was a native of Alabama and lived here 43 years. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Besides her husband, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J. Irving Beale III of Franklin; three sons, Maxie R. Day and Frank R. Day Jr. of Franklin, and James Sprugeon Day of Warsaw; two sisters, Mrs. C.C. Pope and Mrs. R.E. Kelly of Haines City, Fla.; a brother, James Sprugeon Tomlin of Houston, Tex.; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Lucy Beatrice (TOMLIN; Mrs. Frank R.
