Davis, Sr. died Wednesday, March 3, 1976 in the Hermitage Home. She had been a resident of Courtland, Va. until a year ago when she made her home at Hermitage. She was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church; a former member of the Nottoway River Women's Club and the United Methodist Women. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Paul J. Bankes, of Rador, Pa., Mrs. John D. Williams of Richmond, Mrs. James D. Woodard of Courtland, and Mrs. William Collinger of Easton, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Garland Bullock of Ayden, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 P.M. at the graveside in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland but the Rev. C.B. King. The family request that memorials be made to the building fund of Courtland United Methodist Church. The remains rest at the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home.
