Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins of the Franklin Baptist Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Vernon Scott, Wesley Gray, Nurney Whitley, Leonidas Cutchin, Elmo Eason, Bobby Rowell and Davis Rowell. Mrs. Doughty died Saturday in her home in Jacksonville, Fla., after a sudden illness. A native of Franklin, she lived in Jacksonville nine years. She was the wife of Louis* Carlton Doughty and a daughter of Mrs. Laura Gray Vick of Jacksonville and the late Pynell A. Vick. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church. Besides her husband and mother, surviving are a step-daughter, Mrs. Jean Doughty Richardson of Richmond; a brother, P.A. Vick Jr. of Franklin. Annie Laura (VICK; Mrs. Louis C.)
