She was the widow of Matthew Daughtrey and the daughter of the late Solomon and Mrs. Fannie Horne Carr of Petersburg. She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church. Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Harvey Holland of Holland and Mrs. Gurney Rhodes of Windsor; two sons, C.E. Daughtrey and W.J. Daughtrey, both of near Franklin; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the South Quay Baptist Church by Rev. Curtis L. Hoffman, pastor of Colosse Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Lewis Daughtrey, Joe Daughtrey, Marvin Daughtrey, Cliff Daughtrey, J.P. Carr, Gurney Rhodes, William Pierce and J.H. Daughtrey.
