ACCIDENTAL KILLING OF A YOUTH BY BEING THROWN FROM A HORSE. 
[Special telegram to the Dispatch.] 

  FRANKLIN, SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, VA., January 19.- Johnnie Deal, a promising 
youth of fourteen years, and a son of Mr. J.J. Deal, was instantly killed 
this evening at 6 o'clock at the corner of Mechanics' street and First avenue. 
His horse ran away, throwing him from the buggy, his head striking a post and 
breaking the skullbone.
