Deale Boykins - Mrs. Louise Drewry Deale, 71, died Monday afternoon at a Newport News hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of Joseph Henry and Mrs. Indiana Johnson Drewry and a lifelong Southampton County. She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, James C. Deale of Portsmouth, and William H. Deale of Smithfield; three sisters, Mrs. Estelle Simms of Sedley, Miss Mary Drewry of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Garland Bland of Smithers, W. Va.; two brothers, Edwin Drewry of Emporia, and Rufus Drewry of Smithfield; two grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted this morning (Thursday) at 11 o'clock at the grave in Beechwood Cemetery by Rev. Ben B. Ussery, pastor of the Boykins Baptist Church. Pallbearers were W. R. Emmons, C. W. Smith, R.A. Lassiter, Victor Grizzard, Joe W. Felts and Earl Fuller. Louise (DREWRY; Mrs. Luther F.)
