Ben B. Ussery of Boykins Baptist Church with burial in Beechwood Cemetery. A native of Southampton County and a member of Boykins Baptist Church, he was a son of the late Luther Franklin and Louise Drewry Deale. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Taylor Deale of Rescue*; three daughters, Miss Cynthia Deale of Rescue and Miss Ruth Deale and Miss Barbara Ann Deale of Portsmouth; a stepson, John Hill of Boykins, and a brother, James C. Deale, of Portsmouth.
