ELIZABETH PIERCE DOLES 

   IVOR - A funeral service for Elizabeth Pierce Doles, 77, was held Friday at 
11 a.m. in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. J.L. Buckingham. 
Burial was in Ivor Cemetery. 

   Mrs. Doles died Wednesday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital.  She was the 
widow of Shelley L. Doles Jr., and retired in 1970 from teaching public school 
in Ivor after 30 years. 

   She was a member of Ivor Baptist Church, Southampton Eastern Star Chapter 
68, Ladies Auxiliary of the Ivor Rescue Squad and Southampton Historical 
Society. 

   Survivors include a daughter, Judith D. Radford of Ivor; a sister, Dorothy 
P. Fary of Shackleford; and three grandchildren.
