Henry Kindred DeLoatche, Sr., 72, an electrical engineer and a former resident of this county, died at his home in Washington, D.C., at 12:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, August 2. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Reel DeLoatche, and a son, Henry Kindred DeLoatche, Jr., of Washington; and a sister, Mrs. Annie K. Knight of Boykins. Funeral services were held Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock in Hines Funeral Home, Washington; and the body was sent to the Purviance Funeral Home in Boykins, where final rites were conducted this (Thursday) morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. Marshall W. Anderson, pastor of the Boykins Methodist Church. Interment was in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. Active pallbearers were J.M. Britt, L.F. Draper, C.M. Edwards, Roy Hill, W.F. McKinstry, Claude B. Rock, Jr., H.T. Smith and W.W.
