JOHN RYLAND DUNN 

   CAPRON - A funeral service for John Ryland Dunn was conducted Friday 
at 3 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church, near Yale, by the Rev. W.P. Wallace. 
Burial was in the church cemetery with Browning Funeral Home, Keysville, 
in charge.

   Pallbearers were Kenneth Miller, Beverly Mills, Crawford Wade Jr., 
Roger Kitchen, Eugene Grizzard and George Edwards.

   Dunn, 72, a retired salesman, died Wednesday in a Farmville hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Belle Flowers 
Dunn and a son of Thomas Edward and Mrs. Roxie Thompson Dunn.

   Besides his widow, surviving are a son, Dr. J. Wayland Dunn of Charlotte 
Court House; a brother, Paul C. Dunn of Capron; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche 
Robinson of Mount Dora, Fla., Mrs. Roy Stephenson of Ivor, and Mrs. Bernice 
Bennett of San Francisco; and a grandchild.
