Dora, Fla. formerly of Southampton County, died in the Florida city on Thursday morning, January 18, after an illness of two weeks. She was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Roxie E. Dunn of Joyner, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Sussex County. At the time of her death Miss Dunn was a teacher in the public schools at Moore Haven, Fla. The deceased held a Master’s Degree from Duke University and lacked only the completion of her thesis for a Ph.D. degree. She was a member of the Eastern Star order. Surviving her are three sisters, Mrs. Frank Williams of Emporia, Mrs. Roy Stephenson of Ivor, and Mrs. Roy Mountcastle of Wilmington, N.C.; and two brothers, Paul and Ryland Dunn, both of Joyner. Funeral services for Miss Dunn were held at the graveside at Antioch Church on Sunday afternoon at 2:30. [Sallie Lucille DUNN, former Southampton Co. resident, d. 18 Jan 1951, Mt.
