All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ EDWARD THOMAS DENSON Edward Thomas Denson, 74, lifelong resident of Southampton County, died on Wednesday morning, July 16, at the home in the Sebrell community of his daughter, Mrs. Mabel Hasty. He had been in ill health for several months. Mr. Denson was the husband of the late Mrs. Mary Edith Morris Denson and the son of the late Robert and Mrs. Lenetta Travis Denson of this county. He was a member of Sebrell Methodist Chruch. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Hasty; seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Jenkins of Courtland; and one brother, A.V. Denson of Sebrell. Funeral services for Mr. Denson were conducted on Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the grave in the Sebrell Cemetery by Rev. O.L. Gilliam of Courtland, pastor of the Sebrell Methodist Church.
