Dundelow of this county, died at the home of her grandson, Watt Johnson, in Norfolk Sunday, July 17. Mrs. Dundelow was born at Story, Virginia, August 14, 1858, where she grew into young womanhood and married James M. Dundelow, who died 17 years ago. Mrs. Dundelow then went to the home of her daughter and grandson in Norfolk where she remained until her death. She is survived by five children: Mrs. Mollie S. Johnson of Norfolk, Mrs. Lyna R. Carter of Franklin, Douglas Dundelow of Story, J.S. and S.J. Dundelow of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Duke of Portsmouth and Mrs. Teck Smith of Norfolk and 22 grandchildren. Burial took place at the Nottoway Chapel cemetery, W.W. Moore reading the scripture and Rev. C.C. Jones of Courtland having charge of the service. The body bearers were: Roy Gimbert of Norfolk, Rev. Gordon L. Price of Courtland, G.C. Kirkland, H.C. Whitehead and W.J. Burgess of Story and John Dundelow, Sr. of Franklin.
