MARY ELIZABETH DERR

    Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Derr lost by death their baby, Mary Elizabeth Derr, 
Tuesday morning, June 20. The little one was a bright and attractive child, a 
joy in the home and a great favorite in the neighborhood, and the bereaved 
parents have the sincere sympathy of our townspeople in their loss.

   Funeral services were conducted from the home in First Avenue Wednesday 
morning at 11 o’clock by Rev. Winfield Shiers, assisted by Rev. J.A. Chapman, 
Edgar Weede singing "Open the Gates of Prayer for Me". Interment was made in 
Poplar Spring Cemetery.
