Drake of 6115 Granby Street, Apt. A, Kingsley Lane, Norfolk, from a heart attack on Thanksgiving Day morning. Funeral arrangements as of Friday, Nov. 24 were pending due to arrival of a son, Dr. Robert Berkley Drake, from Guam. Mr. Drake is survived by his widow, Mabel Whitehead Drake and two sons, Brady T. Drake Jr. of Bayside, Norfolk and Dr. Drake of Guam. He is also survived by the following sisters and brothers Mrs. Sam Bradshaw of Franklin; Mrs. Harry Soden of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Mrs. Wayland E. Major of Newport News; Theodore R. Drake of Franklin, Freddie F. Drake of Suffolk and James C. Drake of Sedley. ****************************************************************************** BRADY THOMAS DRAKE NORFOLK - Funeral services for Brady Thomas Drake Sr. of 6115 Granby Street, Apt. A, Kingsley Lane, Norfolk, who died Thanksgiving morning of a heart attack, were held on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 26 at 3:30 p.m. at Holloman- Brown Funeral Chapel, Tidewater Drive, Norfolk with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Dr. Richard Prince, pastor of Christian Temple, officiated at the service. Drake was associated with Shulman and Company of Norfolk until his retirement in 1967. He was a life deacon of the Christian Temple and was active in many organizations and clubs. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mabel Whitehead Drake, and two sons, Brady T. Drake Jr. of Norfolk; Dr. Robert Berkley Drake of U.S. Air Force, in Guam; and 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Bradshaw of Franklin; Mrs. Harry Soden of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Mrs. Wayland Ellison Major of Newport News; three brothers, Theodore Drake of Franklin, Freddie F. Drake of Suffolk; and James C. Drake of Sedley.
