DRAKE Hugh Kelly Drake, 77, formerly of Sedley, died at the home in Suffolk of his daughter, Mrs. James W. Wilkins, on Saturday night, July 20, at 9:30 o'clock after a long illness. The deceased was the son of the late William M. and Lucy Mumford Drake of Southampton County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Bulls Drake; two daughters, Mrs. James W. Wilkins of Suffolk and Mrs. Howard Satterfield of Portsmouth, a son, William Drake of Franklin; 16 grandchildren; and two nephews. Services for Mr. Drake were conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, by Rev. George D. Alley, D.D., pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. Pallbearers were Charles L. Bradshaw, Douglas Bradshaw, Linwood Bradshaw, Wesley Bradshaw, Charlie Bulls, Sr., Charlie Bulls, Jr., Eddie Bulls and Otis Drake.
