LORENE BRYANT DRAKE 

   A funeral service for Mrs. Lorena Bryant Drake, 48, of 808 Walnut Street, 
was held Thursday in McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins by the Rev. Harry Bunch. 
Burial was in the Newsoms Cemetery.

   A native of Southampton County, she was a member of Newsoms United 
Methodist Church.

   She was the daughter of the late Jesse Julian and Sadie Rountree Bryant.

   Pallbearers were: K.D. Walton, Norman Porter, W.A. Cooke, Charles Bunn, 
K. Braxton Bunn and James C. Vick.

   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patricia D. Johnson of Zuni; and a son, 
Raymond E. Drake, of Newsoms; a sister, Mrs. Louise Porter of Newsoms and 
five grandchildren.
