Service was in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. L.F. Smith of South Quay Baptist Church, a former pastor of Newsoms Baptist Church. Burial was at Newsoms Cemetery. A native of Newsoms, she was a member of Newsoms Baptist Church and its Women’s Missionary Society. She was the wife of Russell Drake and daughter of Mrs. Carrie Worrell Porter and the late Bennie Porter. Surviving, besides her husband and mother, are a son, Russell S. Drake, Jr. and a brother, Ralph Porter, of Newsoms. Pallbearers were J.R. Railey, E.J. Cogsdale, Dr. J.J. Grizzard, Peter Vick, Aubrey Story, Johnny Cook, R.B. Story and Eppa Prince. Honorary pallbearers were the men’s Bible Class of the Newsoms Baptist Church. Nannie Maude (PORTER; Mrs. Russell S.
