Mrs. Mildred C. Darden 

  FRANKLIN - Mrs. Mildred Cutchin Darden, 81, widow of William Wright Darden, 
died Friday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. 

  A native of Nansemond County, she was a member of Franklin Congregational 
Christian Church. 

  Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Annie Glenn Jones of Franklin. 

  A funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. in Poplar Spring Cemetery by 
the Rev. Charles L. Smith and the Rev. W.A. Grissom.  W.J.M. Holland & Sons 
Funeral Home has charge.
