High St. died Sunday night in a Norfolk hospital. She was the widow of Lloyd A. Darden and a native of Portsmouth. She lived in Franklin 50 years. She had taught in Franklin public schools and retired from the local peanut cooperative association. She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and charter member of Franklin Literary Club. Survivors include a brother, William H. Jennings of Virginia Beach; a niece; a nephew; and a great-niece. A funeral will be held today at 3 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.
