CHARLES LESTER DREWRY 

   FRANKLIN - Charles Lester Drewry, 27, died Thursday morning in a Lynchburg 
hospital after a long illness.

   A native of Franklin, he was a son of Charlie Drewry and Mrs. Munford Babb.

   Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Peggy D. Faher of 
Norfolk; two brothers, Michael Drewry and David L. Drewry of Franklin; and a 
half sister, Miss Connie Babb, and a half brother, Oscar Babb, both of 
Franklin.

   A funeral service was conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Southampton Memorial 
Park by the Rev. I.D. Hudgins of Franklin Baptist Church.

   Pallbearers were Cadd Dunlow, Garnet Whitley, Donald Pagett, Frankie 
Bradshaw, Jimmie Powers and James Justice.
