DREWRY Mrs. Hattie West Drewry, 59, of Zuni died Thursday, January 3, at noon at Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, after a short illness. She was the wife of Irvin D. Drewry and the daughter of the late George W. and Louise Anna Gay West of Southampton County. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church and of the Woman's Missionary Society. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Fenton E. Drewry of Zuni and George S. Drewry of Holland; three daughters, Miss Martha L. Drewry of Williamsburg, Miss Florence Nell Drewry and Mrs. Elsie Beasley, both of Zuni; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. E.P. Lowe of Franklin and Mrs. A.E. Drewry of Zuni, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Black Creek Baptist Church by Rev. L.B. Allen pastor, assisted by Rev. R.T. Welch, a former pastor now of Darlington Heights Baptist Church, and Rev. Terry Ellis, pastor of South Quay Baptist Church. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley.
