William Hudson, assisted by the Rev. James T. Campbell and the Rev. Harry Bunch. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery with McDowell Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were George Prince, Eppa Prince, Samuel B. Drewry, John Drewry, Sam E. Pope, Herbert Hood, J. Eldridge Hood and Arthur C. Brett Jr. Drewry, 84, died early Tuesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin, after a brief illness. A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Eunice Edwards Drewry and a son of Samuel Blount and Mrs. Roberta Moss Drewry. He was a member of Boykins United Methodist Church. Besides his widow, surviving are a son, Madison Blount Drewry of Boykins; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Brett of Fairlawn, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Prince of Capron and Mrs. Bert Allie Schneider of Boykins; two brothers, Joseph S. Drewry and J. Herman Drewry of Boykins; four grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
