Richard T. Diekkmann and Robert Fridley. Wright Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Drewry died Saturday, May 15 in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of William H. Drewry Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Virginia D. Lyon and Jean D. Williams, both of Newport News; 4 sons, William H. Drewry Jr. and Richard T. Drewry of Franklin, N. Wayne Drewry of Kingston, Tenn., James A. Drewry of Texascana, Tex.; a sister, Lillian M. Branch of Ivor; 16 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers were: Joe West Drewry, Edward Branch, Jim Drewry, Russ Cotton, Billy Lyon, Billy Williams, and Earl Branch.
