Drewry, 81, was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley, by the Rev. Ira B. Hudgins with Wright Funeral Home in charge. Drewry died Thursday in Montgomery County Hospital, Blackburg. A native of Southampton County, he was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his stepmother, Mrs. Bessie* Drewry Raiford of Williamston, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Alice Vick of Hopewell, Mrs. Catherine Jenkins of Williamston, and three brothers, Clinton McKinley Drewry and Samuel B. Drewry of Franklin and John Henry Drewry of Kansas City, Kan.
