ELISHA LEE EVERETTE 

   FRANKLIN - A funeral for Elisha L. Everette Sr., 47, was held Monday 
at 11 a.m. in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Willis H. Switzer.  Burial 
was in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Everett died Friday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Gates, N.C., he was the husband of Sally Munford Everette.

   He was a mechanic for 30 years.

   Other survivors include his mother, Bertha Lassiter Everette of Suffolk; 
two sons, Elisha Lee Everette Jr. and Michael Ray Everette both of Franklin; 
a sister, Mary E. Parker, and a brother, William Everette Sr., both of 
Franklin; and two grandchildren.
