He was the son of Caleb and Betty Gillette Everett of Southampton county, and was a member of Barnes Methodist Church. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. C. Ashby Worrell; four brothers, Frank E. and Caleb R. Everett of Newsoms; P.G. Everett of Suffolk and B.W. Everett of Norfolk. Services will be at the grave Friday afternoon at 3:30 in the Newsoms Cemetery and will be conducted by Rev. L.G. Tinnell. Pallbearers will be L.D. Story, Russell Railey, Leonard Smith, Lee L. Thorpe, Ray A. Bunn, H.E. Bailey, Ben Rountree and Richard D. Miles.
