Everything that loved ones and friends could do was done for her comfort but death was a happy release to her. She was a member of Peete’s Church and was an exemplary Christian, a devoted wife and mother, a good neighbor and was loved by all who knew her. She was married to Luther A. Ezzell December 19, 1893, who preceded her to the Land of the Blest 4 years ago. Children, sister and brothers find comfort in the thought that their loss is her eternal gain, and that they may meet in that land where goodbyes are never said. She was tenderly laid to rest in the family cemetery with loved ones gone on before. The burial services were conducted at the grave by R.A. Pope. Lucy Fannie (SMITH; Mrs. Luther A.)
