LIZZIE SMITH EZELLE

   DREWRYVILLE - A funeral service for Mrs. Lizzie Smith Ezelle, 79, will be 
held today at 2 p.m. in Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, by the Rev. Wallace 
Tucker.  Burial will be in Drewryville Cemetery.

   Mrs. Ezelle died Tuesday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the wife of Joseph R. Ezelle.

   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frances Horton of Drewryville; a son, 
Herbert L. Ezelle, also of Drewryville; four sisters, Mrs. Sallie Ezelle, 
Mrs. Emily Harrell, Mrs. Evelyn Harrell and Mrs. Cliff Bradley of Jarratt; 
four brothers, Roy Smith of Emporia, Johnnie Smith of Richmond, George D. 
Smith and James A. Smith of Jarratt; and two grandchildren.
