Ezelle was conducted Tuesday, June 27 at 4 p.m. in Owen Funeral Home by the Rev. Lloyd C. Halstrom and the Rev. Daniel M. Spell. Burial was in Drewryville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tom Horton, James Smith, John Smith, George E. Smith, Melvin Harrell, George Bradley, Cola Bradley and G. L. Rawlings Jr. Ezelle, 72, retired farmer died early Sunday, June 25 in Greensville Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, he was the son of the late Luther A. and Mrs. Lucy S. Ezelle and a member of Lebanon Methodist Church. He was the husband of Mrs. Sallie Smith Ezelle. Besides his widow surviving are a son James Fred Ezelle of Jarratt; three brothers, J.R. Ezelle and Floyd P. Ezzelle of Drewryville and Raymond A. Ezelle of Yale; one sister, Miss Mamie Ezelle of Stony Creek and three grandchildren.
