SHIRLEY JOHNSON EASON

   Carrsville - A funeral service for Mrs. Shirley Johnson Eason, 57, was held 
Sunday at 4 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Revs. Edwin C. 
Thornton Jr. and Jeremy Galloway. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   She died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.

   A native of Franklin, she was the wife of Theodore Paulette Eason Sr.  She 
was a daughter of Mrs. Virgie Johnson Carpenter of Franklin and stepdaughter 
of Robert Vann Carpenter.

   Other survivors include a son, Theodore P. Eason Jr. of Franklin; three 
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
