EDMUNDSON Funeral services for Levy Leroy Edmundson, 50, a resident of Sedley, who died Saturday morning, November 10, at McGuire Veterans' Hospital, Richmond were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the chapel of the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, pastor of the Franklin Baptist Church, officiated. Mr. Edmundson, who had been in the plumbing business in Sedley, was the husband of Mrs. Elsie Vargo Edmundson of Sedley, and the son of the late Levy L. and Mrs. Tempie Harrell Edmundson of North Carolina. He was a veteran of World War II. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sisters, Mrs. J.E. Windom of Greenville, N.C., Mrs. Melvin Hoard, Mrs. Bud Riddick, Mrs. Jimmy Lee, all of Tarboro, N.C., and Mrs. Ralph O'Neal of Lowland, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, and the active pallbearers were Joe Owen, Russell, George Bradshaw, Joe Pond, Richard Galtress, J.E. McClenny, J.R. Hooke, Calvin Munford and R.C. Bulls.
