ADRIAN BRADSHAW EDWARDS

   BOYKINS - A graveside funeral service for Adrian Bradshaw Edwards was 
conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Beechwood Cemetery by the Rev. James 
Campbell of Boykins Baptist Church. McDowell Funeral Home was in charge.

   Pallbearers were Jim Whitley, Marvin Worrell, Caleb Hurst, J.L. Porter, 
Hurley Edwards, and Jim Edwards.

   Edwards, 53, died Monday in a Miami hospital after a long illness.

   A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Paul Thomas and Mrs. Zelma 
Bradshaw Edwards. He was a truck driver.

   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sammie Jean Wells of Suffolk and Mrs. 
Patricia Truitt of Boykins; a son, Adrian B. Edwards; a sister, Mrs. Sammie E. 
Shelton of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.
