Malsbad. Burial will be Poplar Spring Cemetery with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers will be W.F. Hart Jr., Walter E. Beaman, Clifford A. Cutchins III, Robert A. Pretlow Jr., Robert C. Ray, Sidney T. Williams, J.J. Finley Jr., and T. Arthur Vaughan. Miss Edwards, 94, died Monday in a Suffolk hospital. She was a daughter of Col. Luther R. and Mrs. Virginia Bourke Edwards. A member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church. She was an officer of the first Southampton County Chapter of American Red Cross, founded in 1917 and a member of Agnes Lee Chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy. Surviving are two nephews, Gordon Edwards of Greenwich, Conn., and L. Rice Edwards of Falls Church.
