He had been in failing health for four years, although he held his position until a few weeks previous to his death. He was born near Boykins in 1885* and leaves a little daughter, aged five, his wife dying in 1914. He loved his baby so much and tried so hard to live to raise it, but God knew best and took him to a home where there is no suffering. He also leaves four brothers and five sisters to mourn his death. He was a kind, loving father and brother and will be greatly missed. Gone but not forgotten. ONE WHO LOVED HIM.
