INDIANA C. EDWARDS Mrs. Indiana Crumpler Edwards, 84, a resident of the Franklin community, died at the residence of the Franklin-Murfreesboro highway of her daughter, Mrs. Theon A. Darden, at 7 o'clock on Tuesday evening, March 25. She had been in ill health for several months. Mrs. Edwards was the widow of Jesse Thomas Edwards and daughter of the late Joshua and Mrs. Ann Daughtrey Crumpler of this county. Besides her daughter she is survived by two sons, Ryland and Claude Edwards, both of Franklin.; 11 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Last rites for Mrs. Edwards were held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the residence, with Rev. L.M. Kanipe, pastor of Sycamore Baptist Church, and Dr. J.R. Johnson, pastor of Pocahontas Bassett Baptist Church of Bassett, officiating. Burial was in the Sycamore Church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Russell Cotton, P.D. Crumpler, W.C. Dailey, Jr., Hunter Darden, Luther Edwards, Mills Edwards, Jack Farmer, and Hunter Darden, Sr. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family. [Rebecca Indianna (CRUMPLER; Mrs. Jesse T.)
