SAMUEL EATON EDWARDS

Samuel Eaton Edwards, age 76, retired railroad employee, died August 7, 1976, 
survived by two sisters, Mrs. Annie Lee, Rocky Mountain, N.C., Mrs. Viola 
Spain of Drewryville, one brother Irvin W. Edwards of Emporia; three step-
daughters Mrs. Ethel Claude of Drewryville, Mrs. Mildred Claude, and Mrs. 
Lillian Anderson, both of Courtland; two step-sons Fred W. Fisher of 
Drewryville and John Lawrence of Greensboro, N.C.; also, several nieces 
and nephews.  Remains rest at Echols Funeral Home, Emporia, where funeral 
services will be conducted 2 P.M. Monday with interment in Drewryville 
Cemetery with masonic rites.
