WILLIE CLAUD EDWARDS

   Franklin - Willie Claud Edwards, 86, of Route 1 died Friday in East Pavilion 
of Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Southampton County.

   He was retired electrician for Union Camp Corp. and was an Army veteran of 
World War I.  He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.

   Survivors include a sister, Georgie Edwards Darden of Franklin; and nieces 
and nephews.

   The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 pm. Today in Wright Funeral Home by the 
Rev. David Adams. Burial will be in Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery.
