ELEY Marie Morgan Eley, 83, died March 21, 2000, in Riverside Convalescent Center in Saluda. Born in Nixonton, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Charles Nixon and Lucy Marie Elliott Morgan and the widow of William Herman Eley. Survivors include two daughters, Jayne E. Savage of Topping and Jan E. Sloan and her husband, Jim, of Winchester; a son, the Rev. William H. Eley II and his wife, Joy, of Cape Coral, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Elliott Morgan. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
