WOODSON EANES

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Woodson Eanes was conducted Sunday at 3 
p.m. in Franklin Baptist Church by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.  Burial was in 
Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin.  W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in 
charge.

   Pallbearers were George Hedgepeth, Carrol Fowler, Richard Galtress, Robert 
Vann, Howard Hawkins and Cecil Lewis.

   Eanes, 43, died Friday morning in Patrick Henry Hospital.

   A native of Hardy, he was a son of Thomas and Mrs. Carrie Lee Eanes and the 
husband of Mrs. Bernice Raiford Eanes.

   He was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Miss Shirley Eanes of 
Franklin; four sisters and five brothers.
