All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ NANCY DARDEN EURE Mrs. Nancy Darden Eure, 82, a former resident of Franklin, died January 10, in a hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., where she had lived for the last 15 years. She was the widow of Thomas A. Eure of Franklin. Mrs. Eure was a member of the Mayfair Baptist Church in Jacksonville and of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and war Mothers. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert H. Rose and Mrs. E.G. Conley, both of Jacksonville; a son, Thomas A. Eure, Jr., of Tampa, Fla., a brother, J.W.H. Darden of Branchville; three sisters, Mrs. Anne D. Coggin of Jacksonville, Mrs. India Harper and Mrs. Rochelle Harrell, both of Norfolk; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in Mayfair Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Robert Clark, assisted by Rev. Clyde B. Lipscomb, pastor of the Hendricks Ave. Baptist Church, officiating. The body was brought to Franklin where burial services were conducted Saturday afternoon by Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, pastor of the Franklin Baptist Church. Pallbearers were G. Carl Steinhardt, Edward F. Gilliam, W.T. Pace, Jr., R.A. Pretlow, Jr., Jesse Weede, Jr., and W.R.
