Rose, of Jacksonville, Florida, on Friday morning after an illness of many months. The body was brought to W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday and funeral services were Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock conducted by Rev. R.D. Stephenson with interment in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Besides Mrs. Rose, with whom he made his home for the past five years, he is survived by his wife of La Mesa, Calif., another daughter, Mrs. E.G. Conley, La Mesa, Calif., one son, Lieut. Thos. A. Eure, Tampa, Fla., and three grandchildren. Active pallbearers were T.P. Hylton, J.E. Wright, John Darden, Jesse and Arthur Eure and John Lee Felton.
