R.E. Brittle. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Wayne Craddock, Bobby Caulder, Turnbull Gillette, Ronnie Babb, Pete Allen, Raymond Bess, Edward Hatfield and Jimmy O’Berry. Foster died Sept. 19 in Leigh Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Southampton County and the wife of James Edward Foster, and the daughter of Mrs. Alta H. Vaughan. She was a member of Hunterdale Church of Christ and a former 20 year employee of Southampton County Bank. Other survivors include a daughter, Vanessa F. Jones of Franklin; two sons, James F. Foster Jr. and Kenneth Todd Foster both of the home; seven sisters, Elizabeth Johnson of Franklin, Ann Va. Lamm of Jamesburg, N.J., Pat V. Haynes and Margaret L. Vaughan both of Richmond, Ester V. Simms of Lynchburg, Katherine V. Lamm of Courtland, Carolyn V. Porter of Newsoms; three brothers, William W. Vaughan, Joe Vaughan and George Edward Vaughan all of Franklin and one grandson.
