Robert D. Fridley of High Street Methodist Church. W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge. Pallbearers were Tall Jones, R.H. Powell Jr., F.F. Powell, Jack G. Holland, Herbert Edwards, Dr. Darden Jones, Samuel Bradshaw and J.R. Howerton. Fitzgerald, retired traffic manager of Union Camp Corp., died Tuesday en route to a hospital after a heart attack. He was the husband of Mrs. Ruth Allen Fitzgerald and a son of the late Heziekiel and Mrs. Annie Lewis Fitzgerald of Accomack County. A native of Accomack County, he lived here 45 years. He was a member of High Street Methodist Church and a charter member and past secretary and treasurer of Franklin Lions Club. Besides his widow, surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Bernice F. Broughton of Parksley and Miss Sarah E. Fitzgerald, Miss Ruth Fitzgerald, and Mrs. Wingfield Hess of Chatham, N.J.
