GILLETTE FELTS FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. ANNA FELTS Franklin, Feb. 19 - Mrs. Anna Gillette Felts, 62, wife of Lloyd Nathaniel Felts, of Pope, died Tuesday at her home after a short illness. Ms. Felts, daughter of the late William John Gillette and Mamie Stieth** Gillette, of Southampton County, was a member of Applewhite Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Paul W. Marks, of Capron, Mrs. J.L. Goad, of Courtland, and Miss Georgia Belle Felts, of Pope; three sons, Eldridge S. Phelps, of Boykins; John A. Felts, of El Paso, Tex., and Robert L. Felts, of the Army, stationed in the Pacific; two sisters, Mrs. R.L. Felts, of Courtland, and Mrs. David B. Barham*, of Capron, and seven grandchildren. The body, now at Holland Funeral Home here, will be taken to Carey Cemetery near Pope for funeral services at 4:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. R.E. Stables and the Rev. R.H. Marks. Funeral services and burial were conducted today at Carey Cemetery near Pope by the Rev. R.E. Stables and the R.H. Marks. Anna (GILLETTE; Mrs. Lloyd N.) FELTS, Southampton Co. native, d. 18 Feb 1947, age 62, interred in CARY family cemetery, near Pope, 19 Feb 1947, donated obit, newspaper unknown, Feb. 19, 1947 **Her mother - "Nannie" Nancy John STITH GILLETTE - & sister Laura (Mrs. Robert L.) FELTS are also buried there.
