C. Allen Lawrence. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. Pallbearers were Jack Bunn, R.N. Darden, Jr., Frank Doss, Grey Peter Rountree, E. Beale Carter Sr., James Porter, Fred Worrell and George Cook. Felts, 69, treasurer of the town of Newsoms, died early Monday in his home. A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Watson Felts and a son of Bernard E. and Mrs. Sarah Harris Felts. He was a retired timekeeper for Virginia Department of Highways, a member of Newsoms Baptist Church, and Franklin Hunt Club. Besides his widow, surviving are a sister, Mrs. George Cabell; and a brother, Robert R. Felts of Norfolk. "Eddie" Edwin Colonna FELTS, Treasurer of the Town of Newsoms, retired Va.
